I have only recently started listening regularly to the radio program On Being with Krista Tippett on NPR (6:00 p.m. Sundays on 88.5 here in Richmond) – don’t ask what took me so long. The program’s website is an eclectic treasure trove of all the wonderfulness that has been part of this “spacious conversation…about the big questions at the center of human life” since its inception as a national program in 2001. This morning I stumbled on a 2010 blog post on the value of handwork that contains a simply marvelous four-minute film titled “A World Through the Hands”. Time to dust off my knitting . . .
